The glittering Christmas lights overhead and fallen snow simply annoyed her. Bright lights decorated the entire city as red, white and green dominated the usually dark color scheme of the city. Holding the mug of cocoa he bought her barely brought any warmth to her otherwise shivering form. Despite being bundled in over five layers the fabric constricting her barely kept the cold at bay. She was always unusually sensitive to the weather during this time of year and no matter the beauty of the season sleep was all she craved. There was no need to participate in an overly done cliché she thought. Yet, seeing his enraptured face depicting such awe made the festival a little better. Sliding up closer to her shivering form he brought her into a hug and without hesitation, she nuzzled into the warmth. Yes, she thought. It was a lot better now.
